Brownie Troupe #264 at Seagate Elementary

On December 2, 2015, Ms. Laura visited with a Brownie Troupe #264 at Seagate Elementary. They were getting ready for a Mother-Daughter Holiday Tea and needed some pointers on Dining Etiquette. After they recited the Pledge of Allegiance and the Girl Scout Oath, the girls had a snack. Then they learned how to set a simple place setting and how to use eating utensils American style and European style. The lesson ended with some tips on how to write a thank you note and when to write and send a thank you note. It was great fun and some parents shared about when they were Brownies and Girl Scouts.

Ms. Laura received a lovely thank you note from the Brownies which reads:

Dear Mrs. Laura
Thank you for teaching us about proper manners. Like, a week later we went to a place called Brambles and used all the skills you taught us.
Thank you, Sincerely,
Girl Scouts # 264

Ms. Laura also received an individual Thank You note from Makenna from the Brownie Troupe # 264. It reads:
Dear Miss Laura,
Thank you very much for coming to our Brownies meeting and teaching us about table manners. We learned a lot and had fun too!! See you again soon.
